Many reports of living pterosaurs are found in various places in the world. Ancient civilizations have many drawins and stories about animals thought to be pterosaurs. Wyverns and certian other dragons are thought to have been based on pterosaurs. Reports of living ptersaurs contunie today and include the Ropen, Kongamato, Thunder Bird, Civil War Pterosaur, and the little known New York Pterosaur, seen during and soon after the tragic 9-11 attack.
